WE HAVE A DOZEN SPECIMENS THAT RANGE IN AGES FROM 11,000 YEARS AGOO T 200 MILLION YEARS AGO. THIS IS FROM THE PRIVATE COLLECTION OF A GENTLEMAN NAMED GEORGE FRANSEN WHO HAS BEEN DUBBEDHE T FECES KING. JASON: UNIQUE IS A GOOD WAY TO DESCRIBE THAT. THROUGH THESE DROPPINGS THERE IS A LOT TO LEARN. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS WE WILL FIND OUT AUTBO DINOSAURS AS WE EXPERIENCE THIS? >> ABSOLUTELY. I MEAN, IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT, THESE ARE TIME CAPSULES. FOSSILS ARTHINGSE THAT HARDEN OVER TIME AND WE DON’T OFTEN THINK ABTOU FECES AS BEING FOSSILIZED BUTN I DINOSAURS, ESPECIALLY CARNIVOROUS ONES, THERE HAS BEEN BONE DAN TEETH FROM THE CREATURES THEY ATE. THOSE ARE THE THGSIN TTHA HARDEN OVER TIME. WHEN YOU LOOK ATHE TSE SPECIMENS, SOME QUITE LARGE, YOU CAN SEE THE BONES AND THE TEETH AND THE OTHER MATTER. BY STUDYING THESE YOU CAN LRNEA INTHGS ABOUT THE DINOSAUR’S DIET, HABITAT, WHERE IT LIVED. IT IS ACTUALLY PRETTY FASCINATING AND WE GET TO SAY THINGS LIKE, DINO DROPPINGS. BASED ON THE BITS OF BONE AND TEETH WITHIN WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DETERMINE IT IS A T-REX AND YES, IT IS THE LARGEST PIECE OF DINO DUNG EVER DISCOVERED. JAN:SO [LAUGHS] LET ME TELL YOU, THIS IS A WHOLE LOOFT FUN AND I CAN SEE WHY THIS IS GOING TO BE SO GREAT.
