The Oakland Beach Association held its first in-person meeting since the pandemic shutdown last Thursday at the recently refurbished skateboard park on Oakland Beach Avenue. Jack O’Donnell, an avid skateboarder made cleaning up the park as his senior project. Association members brought their own chairs to the meeting that was run by president Ron Bergeron. Meanwhile, enjoying the park was Chris Scalzo, who will be a Toll Gate senior this September. After three hours of attempts that included a number of falls, Chris completed an over spine front 360 fakie front shuv to the cheers of his friends. (Warwick Beacon photos)
